Parkview Health again named one of The Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness®
FORT WAYNE, IND. (Jan. 15, 2019) – For the second consecutive year, The National Association for Business Resources named Parkview Health one of The Nation’s Best and Brightest in Wellness® for 2018. The program honors organizations that promote employee well-being, worksite health and wellness.
“Parkview’s wellness program, MyWell-Being, has a dedicated team who supports and encourages co-workers on their personal health journeys, using a number of tools and resources to help them meet their goals,” said Tamara West, director of total co-worker health, Parkview Health. “We are truly committed to inspiring well-being among our co-workers, and we are honored to be recognized among the nation’s best.”
MyWell-Being, which is offered to all Parkview co-workers, includes health assessments, educational materials, wellness challenges, coaching sessions and other resources. The program offers both individual and group activities that are fun and rewarding.
The Best and Brightest in Wellness celebrates companies that are making their businesses healthier, the lives of their employees better and the community a healthier place to live. The 2018 winners were evaluated by an assessment, created and administered by SynBella, a national wellness systems firm. Company entries were examined statistically for quantitative and qualitative data. Each survey was scored on a point system based upon criteria to benchmark and improve wellness program effectiveness, such as outcomes, analysis, tracking, participation and incentives, benefits and programs, leadership, employee input, culture and environment.
“Health and wellness programs are at the forefront of every business looking to retain a healthy workforce. This year’s winning companies represent high standards and an exceptional commitment to their employees’ well-being,” said Jennifer Kluge, president and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.
In addition to its annual awards, the Best and Brightest program provides year-long education, benchmarking, assessment tools and interaction among the best employers. Visit www.101bestandbrightest.com to learn more.
